Outdoor Learning: Larry C. Kennedy Elementary seamlessly integrates outdoor learning with Arizona curriculum, allowing students to explore subjects like science, math, and literature in nature. Fresh air, play, and even mindfulness sessions contribute to students’ well-being.
A Campus Like No Other: The newly built campus features designated outdoor areas—gardens, nature trails, and open fields—where students can closely observe plants, insects, and wildlife. Outdoor classrooms provide alternative learning spaces, enhancing engagement and fostering a love for the outdoors.
Project- Based Learning: Project-Based Learning (PBL) revolves around outdoor themes, encouraging critical thinking. Environmental stewardship is emphasized, with students participating in tree planting, recycling, and water conservation efforts.
